About...

Born in Bedford NH, grew up in Newport RI. Graduated from New England Institute of Technology with an Associates degree in Arcitectural Drafting. Employed by American Power Conversion where I studied Computer Science at Roger Williams University while I worked with the Tech Support team supporting a 3,000 user base.

Moved to Boston in the mid 90’s and worked as a Lotus/Domino (IBM) application developer and database administrator for Hub-Data and the Stop and Shop Super Market Company. In the late 90’s worked as Global Email Director of Razorfish Inc where I was responsible for the design, implementation and development of the global email infrastructure for 4,400 users world wide.

Razorfish would go on to bankruptcy laying off 4,360 employees. I decided to take a break from the technology business and in 2000 started Atomic Painting Inc. in Concord NH where, in my first year in business, won American Painting Contractor Magazine’s “Top Job” award.

In 2005, I moved to Appleton Maine and continued Atomic Painting working with prominant clients such as the Samoset Resort and the Wyeth family.

Throughout my journey through life I was always fascinated by ethnic foods and got immersed in discovering different cultures at the end of a fork (or chopsticks). From blazing hot Indian curries, coconut infused Thai dishes to sharing injera and Doro Wat in Ethiopian restaurants I began my adventure in trying to recreate these foods in the comfort of my own kitchen.... the journey continues...

Wenda Ashton Fisher

Jeff Neuman

Wenda grew up in New York City where weekends meant dim sum in Chinatown, fresh cannoli in Little Italy, and late nights alive with the sounds of the Lower East Side’s 70s and 80s music scene. The energy of punk clubs, underground venues, and street performers blended with the aromas of neighborhood kitchens, shaping a lifelong love of bold flavor and creative expression. Growing up on location with her documentary-filmmaker father added a sense of curiosity and movement that continues to inspire her.

After formal art studies in Manhattan and Australia, Wenda built a respected career in painting and

design in Maine, known for meticulous technique and an adventurous eye. Travels through Italy, Israel,

and Ireland broadened her perspective and enriched her approach to texture, color, and taste.

As co-founder of Fuze Street Food, she channels that lifetime of flavor, artistry, and punk-fueled

creativity into a menu that celebrates street food without borders—food that is fresh, unpolished, and

full of character
